What appears to be a Water Lily and two Lily Pads floating on a Pond is actually an eART SCAN of the real flower and pads Item # -01 |
Water Lilies are a member of the Liliaceae family of plants.
Water lilies grow wild and are also cultivated and usually grown in a pond or pool of water. To grow them you may plant then in pots or if there is silt on the pond floor, they may be planted directly to the bottom of the pond. The leaves (called pads) come to the water surface on long stems of sufficient length to extend from the plant bulb to the water surface and usually float some distance out of perpendicular. The water lily flowers also are on a long stem and come to the surface as do the pads. The flowers may range from white (usual color) to red, pink or yellow and in various shades of same. Water lilies are beautiful in aquatic landscapes at home, business, and in natural settings. They offer a serenity to an aquatic landscape and are often joined with Goldfish and Coi.
We hope to have more Water Lily eART SCANS in the future, but for now, here are the one we have together with some digital shots of the pond (digital camera shots at this time, are usually only 72 dpi whereas Terry scans his eART SCANS at about 500 to 600 dpi. Therefore, we cannot provide prints from the digital camera shots)
